A vaccine against candida in women with recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC)

A very frequent problem among women is recurrent vaginal yeast infections. Currently, only treatment with medication exists. But long-term use of medication has numerous disadvantages such as lack of response or overtime habituation. There is an urgent need for a vaccine.

We are proud to test a new vaccine against vaginal yeast infections as a first.

The recruitement phase of the CandV01 study has been ended due to the completion of the number of participants. Femicare has been extremely successful with the inclusion of 32 patients in Phase 1 and 77 in Phase 2. Follow-up is now continued. 

The research team of Femicare cordially thanks all the wonderful  participants and hopes most of them will remain free of symptoms.
